The National Science Foundation has introduced the SBIR/STTR Fast-Track initiative for startups and small businesses to develop new tech innovations based on prior NSF-funded research. As a result, eligible companies can now access an immediate pathway to a full funding commitment of over $2 million through a single proposal. This pilot program accelerates the development of NSF-funded innovations, streamlining the funding process and reducing administrative burdens. To qualify, companies must have NSF-funded research from the past five years and meet specific criteria.
