**Founder Toolkit** was born from countless conversations my classmate, Leon Jon, and I had with startup founders at NYU when we started our MBAs. We kept hearing the same story: being a founder is lonely and there’s information overload in NYC—there are so many events, newsletters, accelerators, etc. and separating signal from noise can be exhausting. We set out to solve this for founders at the earliest stages of their startup journeys. We hosted quarterly brunches where founders could gather and meet each other in a low stress atmosphere, profiled founders on our page, and we aggregated the NYU and NYC startup ecosystem into an easy to digest format that we shared with founders on a weekly basis. We had over 50 founders attend our events and engaged with countless other asynchronously.

**Venture Capital Playbook - Breaking Into Venture** was inspired by Nichole Wischoff’s tweet about “doing the job before getting the job” as a path into venture. I spent the second year of my MBA at Stern working with and coaching first-year MBAs who wanted to land their first role in venture and wrote this document to help them chart a course for themselves. Whether or not one agrees with the content of this document, I stand by the sentiment in Nichole’s tweet.

**Venture Capital Resources** is an ongoing resource that I curate and share with folks who want to learn more about venture. This was born out of a similar pain point that I observed with Founder Toolkit. Venture capital is becoming more mainstream, but there’s a lot of information out there. These are a few resources that I found extremely helpful when I was starting out and wanted to share with others.
